My journey of faith began in Scotland in 1947, at the tender age of 13.
Now an Octogenarian, I am still travelling, still learning , still stopping to reflect, on the generous nature of God’s love to a sinful world.
At seventy four years young I felt called by God to be a lay preacher. My journey of faith provided five happy and productive years of study, friendship and fellowship. In December 2010 I received Assembly Accreditation as a Lay Preacher in the United Reformed Church.
In 2012 I obtained a foundation degree in the Arts in Contextual Theology from the university of Chester.
Spring 2021 finds me still travelling on my journey of faith. I am returning to preaching after a challenging year of bereavement and ill health.
Now my journey takes me to blogging because I want to reach out and share
With others the rest of my journey. Faith is the wellspring of my life and I want to share the strength and comfort this daily walk with God can bring. I warmly invite you to join me in the onward journey of faith where “ God’s blessings are new every morning.”
